Nathans 13th Minute Amber Ale

Atlanta

 ABV: 5.9%. IBU’s: 22. A classic West coast amber ale that is deceiving, as the hop aroma leads you to believe your palate will be assaulted.  But, only 13% of the hops are added in more than 13% of the boil time; yielding a beer intense in hop aroma and flavor, with only a faint bitterness and nice light chocolate and caramel malt backbone lingering.

HOPAGEDON Imperial IPA

 

Napa Valley, Ca

 ABV: 9.2%. IBU’s: 144. Hopageddon, an imperial IPA not only wet-hopped, but aged in Chardonnay & Cabernet barrels…. Hopageddon is an end-of-the-world imperial IPA that defies expectations and induces an intense hop-stupor that will leave you wondering what just happened.  At 144 IBUs, Hopageddon glows with a gorgeous fiery orange color and showcases a distinct, full white head.  The added character given by the Chardonnay and Cabernet barrels accentuates explosive papaya and lychee flavors along with herbaceous aromas.  Chewy, grassy, wet-hop flavors, hints of dried apricot, and impressions of barrel tannins are evident in mutiple layers. The distinct Barrel-hopped flavors and shockwave of bitterness lingers on the palate and leaves hopheads with a Post-ahopalyptic yearning for more.

 ABV: 12.9%. “MONKS MEAD”. A modern take on an ancient beverage, a golden nectar made from honey. Monks Mead is the drink that warms your heart (honeymoon) or evokes im…ages of Vikings and medieval knights. Monks Mead is a blond, effervescent drink that conjures something of the essence of both beer and champagne. At 12.9 percent alcohol, it’s dangerously easy to imbibe, with a fruity honey aroma and a surprisingly dry palate.

 San Marcos, CA ABV: 7.0. IBU’s: 78.  a West Coast IPA- brewed in the San Diego style. This massively hoppy beer gets its flavor and attitude from no less than five hop varieties including Amarillo, Centennial, Cascade, Simcoe and Summit.

 ABV: 6.6%. Like the world’s great wine and whisky makers we strive for depth of flavor, complexity and mellowness in every beer we produce. Innis & Gunn Original typifies this approach. Its lengthy 77-day maturation imparts flavors of toffee, vanilla and oak that perfectly complement the beer’s backbone of luscious malt and fruity hop notes.
The oak helps to give Innis & Gunn Original its appealing color and also mellow the alcohol character, so although the beer is 6.6%, it’s very smooth and easy to drink.

 ABV: 9.3%. IBU’s: 26. Two Kansas City companies – Boulevard Brewing Co. and The Roasterie – have teamed up on a new beer, Coffee Ale. Unlike some coffee beers that are dark a…nd heavy, the new Boulevard beer is a lighter beer with a coffee aroma made by seeping a coarsely-ground light Ethiopian roast into Boulevard ale. “It has a lighter base so the coffee itself could shine through. The freshly roasted beans were used in the fermentation process to give the beer as much of a coffee aroma as possible”.

 Hooker BrewerySpinster Xpa Conn  ABV: 5.1%. As like a spinster, this beer is made with a single hop: “Alone and bitter”. This beer is a hoppy pale ale that is very citrusy.

RAMPANT IPA

Fort Collins, CO

  ABV: 8.5%. IBU’s: 85. A burly and bitter Imperial IPA, Rampant pours a pure copper and carries the sheen of a rightly hopped beer. The Mosaic and Calypso hops bring stonefruit to the front seat, and the addition of Centennials nod towards citrus for a well-rounded aroma.  The taste expands these hops with heavy peach tones and a profoundly bitter bite. There is some malt sweetness to stand this beer up, and Rampant’s finish is bone-dry.

In the farmlands of Shiner, TX, that tradition lives on. Which is why our tribute to this style uses Golding, Sterling and Meridian hops for a sweet yet lightly spiced flavor. Our incredibly refreshing Farmhouse Ale bears the name of the farm to market road just south of where our brewery has proudly stood for over 100 years.

 ABV: 4.4%. Southern Pecan Nut Brown Ale is the first beer in the world, made with whole roasted pecans. The pecans are used just like grain and provide a nutty characteristic and a delightful depth to the flavor profile. This beer is very lightly hopped to allow the malty, caramel, and nutty flavors shine through. The color is dark mahogany. Southern Pecan won a Bronze Medal in the 2006 World Beer Cup in the Specialty Beer category.

 Colorado  ABV: 9.0%. Heavenly Feijoa Tripel combines Dieu du Ciel’s love of hibiscus flowers with New Belgium’s passion for strange and worldly fruit. Feijoa, also known as pineapple guava, has a sweet, aromatic flavor, which makes the aroma of Heavenly Feijoa Tripel luscious and tropical. The beer has Belgian yeast and Nelson Sauvin hops, combining to make a sweet fruit taste, mild spicy tones and a sharp bite.

 ABV: 5.5%. ESB has a wonderful rich mahogany appearance. Taking in the nose, the beer is bursting with cherry and orange, balanced by soft malty toffee and caramel notes. The flavor delivers everything you would expect from such a full-bodied ale. The unique blend of Northdown, Target, Challenger and Goldings hops imparts grassy, peppery notes on the tongue along with intense citrus fruit characters of grapefruits, oranges and lemons. The blend of Pale Ale and Crystal malts in the brew give a biscuity, toffee element to the beer. A smooth, mellow bitterness lingers on the palate to give a superbly satisfying finish.
